Operations Manager 2022 has the new built-in role of Delegated Administrator. This is a great way to scope specific administrative tasks to a group that may not need to be full SCOM administrators.

In this example I am going to use the wizard and scope to only allow for Agent Management

Scope the selected permissions accordingly.

There is no need to author the scope.

Select the Groups as needed.

Approve the tasks as needed

Approve Dashboards and views as needed.

Review the summary.

The new role will appear.

Depending on how the views were scoped, the user may still be able to see everything, but only perform the tasks assigned.
